Brief: One day and multi-day programs are designed to give the recipients an understanding of working with fall protection equipment, knowing the requirements of applicable governing bodies, and performing hands-on skills. Students will be exposed to multiple systems, which can be applied to their particular site. Using a solid framework, to ensure consistency and standardization, this course will incorporate the needs of the group and each individual in attendance. The course includes anchorages, connectors, and full body harnesses.
Scope: These programs are intended to allow recipients to select and use appropriate fall protection systems to protect a variety of different fall hazards. Individuals who must use judgment skills in determining safe and effective anchors in conjunction with the proper fall protection equipment and techniques will benefit from this course.
